The subject is a hay roll in a field near my home. The field was just mowed and the hay rolled over the weekend. This morning the weather was very clear and cool (relatively speaking) for this time of year so it was a perfect opportunity to paint this. My hope was to try to capture that natural clear morning light on the subject and the field. Fun painting to work on. I hope that you enjoy it.
