Clementines In A Paper Bag 8 in. x 10 in. Oil On Panel - SOLD
I used a brown paper bag in the painting that I did last Thursday and I wanted to have a go at it one more time. This is another painting where I was interested in contrasts, primarily the bright orange of the Clementines against the monochromatic paper bag, and the smoothness of the oranges against the more analytical creases in the bag. I also intentionally limited myself on the colors that I used. I picked and mixed the colors that I needed to create the oranges and paper bag and then used variations of only those colors for the background and table top. There is cadmium orange in every part of this painting. Really fun painting to create. I hope that you enjoy it.
