This is a Hackberry tree that is ahead of the other trees in the area with its Fall colors here in Tennessee. I'm always amazed at what interesting things are around us when we take the time to look for them. This tree and field were right off of a relatively busy side road that leads out into the country. I almost didn't even see it when I was driving. I really liked the contrast of the colors in the tree against the field where most of the trees in the distance are still predominately summer green. To be honest I really like this painting, I hope that you enjoy it too!
