Lilacs 11 in. x 14 in. Oil On Canvas - SOLD
This is a glass vase with lilacs. The flowers came from my mother in law's yard and I thought that they had an amazing purple and bluish color range. The vase that my wife had put them in was really interesting to me because it was similar to the glass in a lighthouse. I'm very happy with the painting, I hope that you enjoy it too!

Daily Painting - Still Life - Mangos
Mangos 8 in. x 8 in. Oil On Panel
These are three mangos on a old oak table. I had painted mangos only one other time many years ago as part of a larger composition. This is the first time that I have painted them as the solo attraction in a painting. I really liked the bold and subtle variance in colors. I selected the green mango to add a contrast to the more colorful ones. I hope that you enjoy the painting!

Still Life - Krispy Kreme's
Krispy Kreme's 11 in. x 14 in. Oil On Linen Canvas
These are maple glazed and a raspberry filled doughnuts. I set these up under focused spot lighting so that to me they looked like they were on a stage in a play, and I intentionally made the background very dark to give more definition to them. The doughnuts were incredibly soft when I set up the composition, and I really liked the effect of the jelly that oozed out of the filled doughnut. I'm as happy with this piece as any that I have done in the last few months. I hope that you enjoy it too!

Daily Painting - Still Life - Apples In Pewter
Apples In Pewter 8 in. x 10 in. Oil On Panel - SOLD
This is a pewter bowl full of ambrosia apples. I really liked the red of the apples inside the gray of the pewter bowl. They are sitting on an old walnut table from my mother in law's estate. The table is old and and has lost some of its finish which creates these bluish tones in the shadow areas when it is under light which I found interesting. I hope that you enjoy the painting!
